Amin Montazeri
b. 1977
I am Amin Montazeri, cartoonist and art teacher. I have been an artist for more than 30 years and have received several awards for caricature, illustration and graphic design. I did an undergrade degree in IT and Software Engineering followed by masters in illustration. I also obtained a degree in Marketing and Branding (General Business).
Whilst art has always been my passion and career I am also interested in psychology. You always find me sketching digital art with pen on paper. No matter the medium I constantly challenge myself.
The main software I use to create digital art are Photoshop, Procreate and Illustrator.
My work can be classed as dark and fantasy art through I use color to express my ideas.
Despite the appearance I show various motives in my artwork including protest, romance, pleasure and sadness. No matter the dominant motive, my ultimate goal is to engage the audience and generate some form of emotion.
I am not afraid of repeating my artwork and there is a balance between completely new ideas and repeating or redesigning the older ones.
