Narges Ranjbar’s journey through photography seems like a profound exploration of memory and its transient nature. By capturing portraits, she seeks to preserve the fleeting essence of her subjects, those who have woven themselves into the fabric of her life, only to inevitably fade with time. Her work resonates deeply with the tension between memory and amnesia, echoing the fragility that Buñuel speaks of—the paradox of memory being both essential and vulnerable.
